What it doesn't do
So you can decide before you sign up, not after.
- No PPC or ad research. SEOpen is about organic search.
- Traffic estimates for other domains are models from DataForSEO, not their analytics. Good for comparison, not as exact numbers.
- Keyword gap samples very large domains rather than reading every keyword they rank for.
- No AI content writer or brief generator. It finds the keywords; the writing stays yours.

- What is a research credit?
- A unit of on-demand lookups. One credit is one cent of DataForSEO's list price, and every Run button shows the estimate before you click. Scheduled tracking, audits and AI checks don't use credits.
- How far do 300 credits go?
- A typical keyword ideas lookup or keyword overview costs a few credits, and a full domain analysis more. For one small site, 300 a month covers regular research with room to spare.
- Where do search volumes come from?
- From DataForSEO, based on Google Ads data. Volumes are monthly averages for the country you choose.
- Can I research a competitor's site?
- Yes. Domain analysis works for any domain: its ranking keywords, top pages, competitors and history.
