Terms of service

By using SEOpen you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose.

The service

SEOpen is an SEO workbench at getseopen.com. It tracks rankings, audits sites, researches keywords, domains and backlinks, checks AI search visibility, and shows Google Search Console and Google Analytics reports you connect.

Your account

  • Sign in with an email address and password, or with Google.
  • Keep your account secure. You're responsible for what happens under it.
  • One free trial per person. Starting extra trials with new email addresses or cards isn't allowed.

Your sites and data

  • Only connect Google accounts and properties you own or are allowed to use.
  • You keep ownership of your data. You give us permission to store and process it to run SEOpen for you.
  • Researching public information about any website, including competitors, is fine.

Search data

Rankings, search volumes, backlinks, crawls and AI answers come from third parties, mainly DataForSEO and Google. Many figures (traffic, difficulty, volume) are estimates. We pass them on as we receive them and can't promise they're complete or correct.

Playing fair

Don't:

  • resell SEOpen's data, or give people outside your workspace access to it as a service;
  • scrape SEOpen, use it to build a competing data service, or run lookups by script;
  • attack, overload or reverse engineer the service, or try to get around plan limits.

We may suspend workspaces that break these rules.

Plans and billing

  • Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial and need a card. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the plan starts and your card is charged.
  • Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe.
  • Each plan has limits (projects, tracked keywords, crawl pages, AI prompts and monthly research credits). Credits reset at the start of each month and don't roll over. When a limit is reached, the affected checks pause until the next month or an upgrade.
  • You can cancel any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
  • If we change prices, we'll tell you before your next renewal.

Availability

We work hard to keep SEOpen running and accurate, but the service is provided as is. Data providers change their APIs, report late or go down, and numbers can lag or be wrong as a result.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, SEOpen isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending things

You can delete your workspace at any time. We can end or suspend workspaces that break these terms, with notice where reasonable.

Changes

We'll update this page when the terms change and tell you about significant changes before they take effect.
